A PC Polly would use?

Post by DrDark »

It's well known she doesn't like computers, but what about this one?

This appears to be real. It wasn't announced on April 1...

I think the antenna would scare her off.

Aren't they still using TAPE for their recordings? She likes Orange amps, but one with a computer just isn't, um, organic. I don't think she'd see any use for it.

Haha! I think that's a telegraph "sounder" on the left side. This stuff is called "steam punk". Sorta like Burning Man folks merged with nerds building stuff that looks 100 years old. In my town once a year they dress up in Victorian garb and run wierd (often steam powered) contraptions on the abandoned railroad tracks here.

 'WONDERS' ! "Electro-Luminescent Graphical & Moving Picture Renderings of The Great Handcar Regatta!"

it's kind of like the medieval fairs they have here I guess (altho I imagine that takes place in most western colonised countries)

I can see how the old style of things can appeal ..."gaslight romance" ... and I really like that style of 'artistic expression' ...the metal, the clock parts etc.

I just wanted to reinforce here, however, that I would NEVER get about town wearing goggles and a leather helmet... ;)
