Imagine my surprise when I pass the fellows laying a new wall in front of a neighbour's house and I hear 'Rid of Me' coming out of the radio. This turned out to be the advance of an announcement from Mary Ann Hobbs on BBC Radio 6 that there's going to be an hour-long interview/recording with Polly called 'Invitation from Polly Harvey' to be broadcast at 11.30am on Wednesday 12th. It'll cover her career and curating Festival Republic this summer.

And Hobbs followed that up with Nadine Shah so I found that very pleasing : )

Ooh, cool, thanks for the heads-up! I remember listening to Mary Anne’s show last year around the time of I Inside the Old Year Dying release and if memory serves me right, she played one of the tracks and mentioned that Polly had promised her to come on her show a few years ago.
