How do you think - which song? "Memorials"? Maybe something from "White Chalk"? Or maybe they'll promote this tour exclusive vinyl (seeing how "I'll Be Waiting" only needs two guitars and a choir of backing vocals)?

I'm crossing my fingers for "The Community of Hope" simply because of the last year's shitstorm surrounding its lyrics. It would be nice to see it performed on national TV now. And it's short so fit for a late night show.

Maybe she'll do Conan or Jimmy Kimmel in May.

I like your thinking!

Also, a very good find, Kuk.
Wiggins is so superbly unassuming, he looks like he's about to say 'Pop the gold medal in the post, I'm nipping out for some biscuits'

A good find indeed! Can somebody snag it?

"CBS- The Late Show
with Stephen Colbert
Weeknights 11:35/10:35c"

Polly will probably be on at the very end.

It should be uploaded to Colbert's YouTube channel, as most musical performances. I'm not sure if it will be viewable in all countries, though.

Quality of this YouTube clip is very poor (despite being official), that's why right now I'm uploading my edit from the scene source file. You'll have to wait a little. )))

Here it is: http://www.mediafire.com/file/za6ip2t8v ... 2228_9.rar.

This file has 2 audio tracks: the main one is a reasonably loud stereo mp3 leveled by me, and the other is a very quiet original AC-3 (6 channels of small size).

Solid performance, but I was kind of indifferent to it. I recorded it but I don't see myself re-watching it often like I have with many of my other Polly favorites throughout the years (usually much worse visual quality, unfortunately).

No conversation afterwards with Colbert, btw.

I didn't liked the choosing of the song, neither this "violet ostrich" outfit (it's just a mess imo), but the performance itself is good - sound was solid, they played it flawlessly, and it was a really nice shot of "drummer buddies" from the upper point at the beginning.

^ Not much of a fan of that outfit either.

I was hoping they'd play "The Community of Hope", and I think they did a good job. But performances on TV shows are always a bit too 'clean' for my taste - the confined space and the artificial glow of the TV studio don't really do Polly & the band any justice. And they censored 'shithole'. :D

I like the 'ostrich' outfit, actually. It's more theatrical than the black top + black miniskirt that she wears for most of the gigs, so it suits the theatrical atmosphere of the tour more, IMO. (And yes, I sometimes miss the OTT headpieces and leather corset gowns of the LES tour.)
