The Ultimate Music Guide to PJ Harvey
Wiggins is so superbly unassuming, he looks like he's about to say 'Pop the gold medal in the post, I'm nipping out for some biscuits'

The interesting question is, will there be anything in there that we don't already know.

Re: The Ultimate Music Guide to PJ Harvey
I've ordered it. It would be nice if it really does have all the "best interviews".

It has some good interviews, but also lots of reviews (which is a bit lame imo, just one person's opinion and often not even well informed). As an avid fan you won't find new info or rare photos but I guess it's nice as a collector's item

I agree - it warms the heart to read it all, but nothing earth-shaking. Some of the thoughts about the past albums are interesting, and some are questionable (as you might expect). But 'rare photographs' - I wondered which they had in mind? It was quite fun seeing PJ in the same place as Siouxsie Sioux, admittedly.

Received mine the other day.
It is indeed a high quality, curated collection of well written interviews accompanied by photos (a few of which I've never seen before). If you call yourself a PJ fan, you need this. It's worth it.
