"The Hollow of the Hand" - easy peasy

I have a few guesses: "The Age of the Dollar", "Throwing Nothing" or "Sight-seeing". I think the latter goes particularly well with this conception of songs written after going to 3 different locations.

So it might be a self-titled album. Or it might be a time for "PJ Harvey's record" (Maria Mochnacz's suggestion for "Uh Huh Her").

My guess was "The Hollow of the Hand" too, but I have to agree with Kuk91. After the release of the book, the launch show and the video announcement, it seems unlikely.

My new guess is the album title will be a line from the song she performed in the video, The Ministry of Defence. And I have a feeling that song will be the album opener.

that coat of arm is very detailed, has something to do with the cover for me to
there's a poem about two headed dog in the book, the album title might be that poem: "Talking to Dog"

Interesting thought! I remember in some review of the book launch someone actually called (in fact, mistook) this poem "Talking to God", and I was really looking forward to read how would Polly talk to Him, but when the book came to me I realised it was "dog", but nonetheless ended up liking it very much, one of the best poems in the book IMO.

But yeah, she was talking to a regular dog - two-headed one is from "Begging Bowl". )))

Photo of this poor building in Kabul was in the book, and reviewers of "Recording in Progress" were saying about Polly's drawing of that same building hanging on the wall (alongside the coat of arms), so it's probably a very important aspect for her. And if they put this drawing of hers on the cover - that would make total sense: "PJ Harvey (name of the painter / artist) - The Ministry of Defence (building depicted)".

That's very interesting, I didn't know about that drawing.
But just to be clear, I didn't mean "The Ministry of Defence" as the album title, but a line from that song. Maybe one we don't know yet.
