HIGHLY, HIGHLY Unlikely New Album Predictions

Post by lightrailcoyote »

Hope it's ok to have a silly thread here. I'm feeling down and listened to PJ and started imagining the weirdest, most surprising things she could do on her next album.

Can anybody make me laugh with theirs?

How about an all-instrumental albums for sax, drums and bass, with no chords but lots of interesting riffs and melodies and without a single bar of 4/4?

That would be incredible. She would find a way to make it work, too.

I wonder if Polly likes any Metal (well, she did say in the past that she's a fan of Motorhead).

A fully orchestrated rendition of a couple of tracks from each album.

Dry Roasted - a re-working of Dry with a mariachi band.

PJ Harvey Plus 1 - a set of new duets (including one with Tom Waits)

Disco Dance Hall At Louse Point - a reworking at 140bpm

Reeling - 10 songs about fishing, featuring C'mon Billy Bass, Squid Of Me, 50 Foot Breamie, Catfish On The Wall.....

I'll get my coat........

How about an album with an orchestra and then an unplugged one? No, wait, let's hope she never burns out!
