Polly at the Paleo, 21st July

it appears that Polly is going to perform at the Paleo festival in Nyon on 21st July.

at least this is what I'm told by an "alerte Artiste" that I just received from Fnac Spectacles, exactly an hour ago.

and here's the ticket-vending webpage:

the ticket sale is scheduled to start on 13th April at 12 noon.

but where the heck is Nyon? (by the sea, evidemment. looking at the map provided by Fnac.)

time to do some fresh research now.

edit: and what do I find? it's not the sea, it's Lake Geneva.

that indication on Fnac's map does not show the location of the festival. the festival site is at l'Asse, to the northwest of Nyon's city centre.

For your info : I have been to Paleo Festival a few times, it is one of the biggest (the biggest ?) music festivals in Switzerland.

Nice site. Polly will probably play on the main stage with is for 30,000 people or something - typical festival main stage, nothing special.

It is not a 100% rock festival as they have a world music stage, and many mainstream French singers, which means many families attend and a large part of the audience wouldn't know who Polly Harvey is (this is not meant as a criticism).

Therefore, for those who may want to go, be careful - every year the festival is sold out a few hours after the tickets went on sale.
