Troxy tonight
It's lovely here! I think i can see a gardener!
Wiggins is so superbly unassuming, he looks like he's about to say 'Pop the gold medal in the post, I'm nipping out for some biscuits'

:-)
I posted this in the wrong forum. Sorry.
Yes, all four of them were fantastic - apart from the false start to 'The Devil'!
They did 'Pocket Knife', which was excellent...as was every other song!
A few people shouted out, "Say hello!". What I like about Polly is after they shout that out she resolutely doesn't say "Hello"; as if to answer non-verbally: "I'm not a bloody performing seal!".
Mick did say, "Hello" once, in the way only Mick can.
And as for the person who shouted, "Is that your wedding dress?!" :-(

I might've seen some of you and not known it! I have really short hair and was wearing black framed glasses and a black Placebo hoodie. It's a shame I didn't think to pop on here while I was there! Eejit!

Re: Troxy tonight
Despite advancing years - I think I saw one bloke who may have been older than me - & only discovering Polly a year or two ago (she sort of crept up on me), I have become the typical P J fan, i.e. a total obsessive. I went to the concert hoping to either exorcise my oddness (everyone I know's verdict) or surrender to it.
In the event I did neither. I really didn't know what to make of it. I've been trying to marshall my thoughts for the past few days, but am no better off. Well perhaps a bit.
I think this is Polly striking out in a completely new direction - OK that's obvious, she always, famously, does that - but it's the change from the introverted monomania of her previous imagined selves (combatants!) to a wider perspective. It's her first attempt. And, while it's very thoroughly researched & thought out, she hasn't yet found her way in, to acheive that incredible simple, spontaneous, direct connection with her subject that she has always done before.
It almost makes it more exciting, because you know she has embarked on a new journey, which will take us all to places the like of which we have never seen.
In the end it doesn't really matter to me what she does so long as she keeps on doing it.
Fuck it. Let's face it, I'm a basket case.

Twas really rather lovely. My first PJ gig after more than a decade of fandom. I did like her little bow after the false start though, very sweet. Was it worth arriving ridiculously early, getting front row left and enduring the Stilton and arses waft from that fella to my right?
Oh yes...
Oh yes...
