PJ Harvey returns? OK, this is getting silly now! Where exactly did she go? :eyeroll:
I know we're aching to hear new material, but she released an album a year ago (Don't care what anyone says AWAMWB is as much of an official PJ Harvey album than any of her others). Having said that, I suppose the anticipation would be as high for many if she had released material say - two months ago.

^ Yep! And "The Guns Called Me Back Again", the song she played at the secret gig, is the b-side on the 7" version of the single.

Checked all the regular online sites and can't find the 7" for sale on any of them. This weekend I'm going to place an order for the new album at my local independant music shop I'll ask about the 7" then (can order one for you if you're stuck). Meanwhile here's the artwork for The Words That Maketh Murder:

Did someone listen to RTE 2fm yesterday? It seems they played three songs from "Let England Shake": "The Glorious Land", "Hanging In The Wire" and "Bitter Branches". http://2fm.rte.ie/blogs/dan_hegarty/201 ... o-1am.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Don't know if they will broadcast them again or if we can replay this playlist...

Edit: In fact, I think I'm listening to "Bitter Branches" right now!!! http://2fm.rte.ie/previously_played/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; :D Listen Jenny Hudson show

First thought: The Glorious Land is amazing!! Love the voice effects (they're quite the same than those used on "Written On The Forehead"). I don't know where to listen to "Hanging in the wire"...

No! I can't believe I missed it. I wonder if they will allow us to replay the show later.

In fact, you can listen to them right now.
If you go here: http://2fm.rte.ie/previously_played/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, then click on "change date", choose January 6th and go on "Jenny Huston" show at the bottom of the page. Click on "I want to listen to a recording of the show".
At 17 minutes -> bitter branches
At 95 minutes -> the glorious land

And for "Hanging in the wire", it stops at the end of the second part show. Don't know where to find the third part.
