atforumz -> unforumzed exodus

Lexa from atforumz let me know that some folks from atforumz have started a new board:

with all the modern amenities, like up-to-date software and embedded video. Apparently atforumz is becoming more and more unstable and the board operators are missing in action (sound familiar?):

Right now there's only a PJ Harvey thread in unforumzed's generic 'Other Musical Artists' section, but with time hopefully there will be a section just for PJ (like there already is for Tori, Kate Bush, Joanna Newsom and Lady Gaga:

I'll add a link to the unforumzed PJ thread to the list of PJ links at the top of this forum. I hope they don't loose the PJ atforumz archives. There's some truely great posts in there.

It's very much like the situation was here, except that the host/admin did check in once in a while. The board went down recently because of a credit card problem. Supposedly, it has a dedicated server and for a while the board was losing money. I don't know if there are still those expenses, but with everybody gone, @forums will shut down and the archives will go with it. None of the active moderators can do anything about it.

As I understand it, there's one guy who has access to everything, he could provide a backup, the archives, whatever. He just won't be bothered to do it. People have offered to take it over, update the software, whatever. Nothing.

There is a PJ forum on the old @forums that goes wayyyyyy back, and there are archives too. I believe Canescent was active there, we still use her boot list as a reference. I think the gigography got started there too.

There's just a thread at the new forum, but there hasn't been much PJ news since they started. We'll see.
