All bots are automatically signed up by the board software. I suppose this isn't really necessary since most of the board is public, we've never considered limiting their access. I think it's kind of cool to see them around!

I just upgraded to Snow Leopard, web browsing is vastly improved! Safari was taking a long time to start and every video I played would hang a few seconds in. All gone!

Last I remember, a few of you were looking for the video right?

I've recently upgraded to CS3, so it shouldn't be a problem for me now. If it's allowed multiple installations, I may just go out and get it this weekend.(that way I can install it at home and at work)

Do you know if its allowed multiple installations or just one? I want to ask my boss to get it, but he'll then ask me if I really need it and well, browsing the net while I should be working is not really a good excuse lol.Hell and High Water wrote:I just upgraded to Snow Leopard, web browsing is vastly improved! I don't know, I didn't see anything specific. They do offer a "family pack" for up to 5 installations for $49. This is the page at the online store:Pitifuljoy wrote:Do you know if its allowed multiple installations or just one?

I run a LOT of applications, so I spent some time going through this compatibility list:

There's even an app to check your computer for you.

sweet, thanks again! I'm gonna look into that ASAP.
Also, not a good idea getting a huge ass Asahi beer with my lunch. Currently buzzing it at work.

LOL, @ the beer!
The series Madmen takes place on Madison Ave. in the 60s. People are working in clouds of cig smoke and drinking hard liquor constantly. I don't know how they do it.
I had a little surprise that's not on that list, I have an ancient Apple Laserwriter and it's all supported in Snow Leopard BUT—
AppleTalk is NOT. So the printer doesn't appear on the network.
Since it's across the room and all the connectors on it are old too, it was a problem. I could buy a new, long cable, or a short cable and move the printer. Instead, I have an old PC connected to an old dot matrix printer with a looooong serial cable, I connected the Laserwriter to the PC with this, downloaded the driver and put the printer on the network that way. Whew! If I didn't have so much toner, I'd get a new printer.
