i knew i had seen this outfit before, so i went to check and indeed it's the 2001 Mercury prize, where she performed "this is love" and got a short interview (all recorded before the TV broadcast, 'cause she war touring at the time); these two pics have quite a better resolution than the available footage, too. the original BBC article that had the first one:

The photographer is Rikard Laving (site:

) and the photo was taken surely before 2000-11-29, date of the above mentioned article.
This could be one of the best 2000-2001 era photos, but unfortunately the image quality is quite low.
since we are in the 2000 mood, i'll share this too:
it was taken in Bridport, the same day of the gig, 2000-09-18. This pic overdoses me of early 2000s nostalgia ( look at those beatiful cars!)
