She performed this back in 2008, I suppose it's just something she does when she plays at Largo. I doubt it'll be on the new album, but it is pretty cool indeed.cat on the wall wrote:I just found this by accident today, have no idea if this is a "new song" or what but splendid!

I really like the melody of it, I hope a finished version appears eventually. Maybe on her new album. The bridge is so pretty!Pocket Knife wrote:She performed this back in 2008, I suppose it's just something she does when she plays at Largo. ^ I love her music so much, I find if uncatagorizable, and it's so scarce, you never know if she'll do it again.

Re: Fiona
I'm not as informed on the latest goings on with Fiona as I care to admit, but has anyone any idea what her new sound might be like?
I know she was performing on and off out here in L.A for some time. It has mostly been covers...
Do you guys think that's what her album might consist of ?
I'm hoping for NEW music, to be perfectly honest.
Her covers are amazing, but I want some new tunes. It's been way too long.

Re: Fiona
Did you hear the news?
SXSW is right around the corner, and we've got some big news to share regarding our official showcase. It's taking place March 15 at the Central Presbyterian Church, and will feature none other than Fiona Apple. The beloved singer-songwriter hasn't played more than a handful of shows since 2007. We're beyond excited to be hosting this performance in an intimate space that only holds about 400 people.
Fiona will open the showcase at 8 p.m. Only SXSW badges and wristbands will be admitted. Stay tuned for details on the rest of the lineup.

Re: Fiona
Yes! I'm allowing myself to get a little excited. After the aggravation about the delays with Extraordinary Machine, I've been skeptical. That she's playing SXSW is good news, now we'll see what the material is.
