Warpaint at Glastonbury 2011

Post by sau »

I'm sure ethereal won't mind me advertising this. :-)

Warpaint performing a favourite of mine.

Wiggins is so superbly unassuming, he looks like he's about to say 'Pop the gold medal in the post, I'm nipping out for some biscuits'

Really rate them now, they clearly enjoy doing the shows too, particularly Jenny

The proper BBC recording's up now @ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBK7Lc9aiv0 (2/3 of the show)

Jenny is wonderful. I could watch and listen to her play all night. I was lucky enough to see them last October. I was just about 15 feet away from Jenny and Stella; both bloody good at what they do. Cheekiest rhythm section in the world.

All four of them just seem to be really lovely people too.

They have some more dates in Britain soon.

That was weird. Sorry, ethereal; somehow my comments have appeared in your post!

I'll post them again here. Very strange:

Hello megique, I've checked their itinerary. Would that be the OFF Festival, by any chance?

I'd been desparately trying to resist booking The Big Chill with Rod y Gab playing, Warpaint/Robert Plant playing Sunday too has broken me though :eyeroll: At least they do day tickets
Have AUD's from both Glastonbury shows on the to-do list btw (Dime)

Enjoy OFF Megique!
