Nick Cave has been offered the opportunity to undergo driving training rather than face prosecution after he crashed into a speed camera in Brighton in December.
The Bad Seeds and Grinderman singer’s Jaguar collided with the camera on December 7, but he and his twin sons, who were in the car with him, all walked away unharmed.
According to BBC News Cave, who was not arrested after the incident, will be offered the chance to take a training course instead of facing prosecution.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: "The driver of a Jaguar saloon car which collided with a roadside speed camera on Hove seafront in December has been offered driver training."
