im loving this "crow personification", very symbolic, at same time, she's the foreboding sense and the scavenger feeding on the tragedy to make art

in the other hand, her white persona is the white dove of peace. i like also the fact she picked birds since they are symbol of messengers and music. i remember in the beginning i thought she looked like a bat, sometimes still coz her "wings" look more like a bat than a crow.

fun the way shes always playing with black and white in the last years, but im not sure that in the previous albums (white chalk, a woman a man) that sense of colours had some symbolism as conscious and clear as now.

She Clearly likes Black and White colours. I dont know why since White Chalk she doesn't dress herself in another different

By the way I like the references to the crows, in fact one of my favorites films is The Crow

I thought the same.

I think the choice for the black and white alternation is due to the purity and essentiality of these colours. They express some really direct and strong emotions, especially when worn, so they fit particularly good for the mood of White Chalk and Let England Shake, IMO.
Oh, and I love the belts corset and want one too.
