Do not post links to leaks

People (especially newcomers to the forum) we have a longstanding policy here of not allowing direct links to be posted to files which are PJ's main commercial releases. That includes mp3s or flacs or wavs of any of her albums, including Let England Shake.
The forum policy is posted in the Amusement Park here:
viewtopic.php?p=144#p144
The most important thing to remember:
"The Garden does not endorse the sharing of PJ's main commercial releases. This includes all albums and DVDs"
and:
"Previews of upcoming official releases, such as clips or tracks played on the radio, will be shared freely and removed up to the release date. However, full leaks will not be posted."

I'm posting just to emphasize. It gets a little more subtle and confusing each time, but as of today, the difference is between the
official or streaming releases and downloadable files that can be played on your computer or transferred to your iPod or other device. Listen to the streams, but don't post links to recorded files, and when the time comes, please buy LES and support PJ Harvey.
Of course, we have no control over what you do off this board, that is entirely up to you. Thanks!

Good policy. Not everyone would buy the album. I've already ordered mine

Just to complemment ideas about this concern, live material (from gigs and Radio/TV shows) is treated in a different way and is permited, as long as this material won't be an official release.

Well, people bought it. A lot.
So I like to think this helped!
Let England Shake entered at #8 on the UK Albums Chart with first-week sales of 22,468. This was an improvement of over 8,000 sales on the debut of Harvey's previous solo album, 2007's White Chalk, and made Let England Shake Harvey's second career UK Top 10 album - and first for 18 years, since Rid of Me peaked at #3 in the spring of 1993.
The album also entered at #32 on the Billboard 200 with sales of around 18,000, making it her second highest-charting album in the US after Uh Huh Her peaked at #29 in 2004.
