Really, Vincet Gallo broke Polly. Her writing in that album is so awful. She had never disappointed me musically before. I'm one of the few who actually like "Is This Desire?" but HHH, ugh?

I tend to agree with everything you've said. Once again Polly was just trying to expand her musical horizons and once again achieved the sound/ mood she was aiming to grasp. While Uh Huh Her certainly is not her best, it is a fairly solid album. Just to put this out there (and i know this is not a competition) but I without being biased think Polly is a far superior musician to Bjork. Bjork has produced some woeful work..where as polly's work has always been consistently good. Don't get me wrong; I think bjork is exceptionally talented and i'm in no way denying her significance but to me it's always seemed like she's trying to make a statement rather than create music.

I think that in your Last 3 sentences, you need to switch BJORK TO POLLY & VERSA VICEA.

I don't get the UHH hate, it's not my favorite album but it has some pretty solid songs.
