Who's going to Corona Capital? I have a feeling that PJ has a very weak fanbase in Mexico, and possibly most of the people who's going to attend her show will be posers (don't get me wrong, I'm crazy excited still)

It was just a suspicion until I did the totting up yesterday (thanks to the splendid Gigography), but by the time the last of the Autumn dates are out of the way Polly will have been touring Hope 6 for longer than any other album - unless you count all the dates the first line-up played before Dry came out. Not, perhaps, as many performances, but a more extended period. I'm not sure what, if anything, that tells us, but it's 'worth noting'.

I assume the current tour is the most expensive tour of hers (considering big band, private jets, elaborate backdrops, lighting, and all of the musical equipment - with more than 20 only on-stage monitors and stuff), so it's probably the management wanting to make it profitable. Plus, despite being stretched in time, it should be somewhat "comfy" for PJ this time around - there are extended gaps between "tour legs", and this declarative "no interviews" thing, so she can concentrate solely on singing and live performance itself, which is the time when "songs make most sense" to her, as she was saying a lot.

Yes, I'm sure you're right - the pressure to recoup costs must be a factor. I see the longest tour before this was the Stories one which, again, it must have been tempting to keep going simply because the album was doing so well.

According to setlist.fm:

01 Chain of Keys
02 The Ministry of Defence
03 The Community of Hope
04 Let England Shake
05 The Words That Maketh Murder
06 The Glorious Land
07 White Chalk
08 In the Dark Places
09 The Wheel
10 The Ministry of Social Affairs
11 50ft Queenie
12 Down by the Water
13 To Bring You My Love
14 River Anacostia

So a pretty short show, just 1 hour long.
