Hi all, still listening! I love Pollys new CD, it's very English! At first I wasn't sure, but now I think it's excellent.

I finally bought it. Best Buy still has it unavailable after almost a month of release which pisses me off a bit. I found it in an obscure music store downtown, it's so white (it's so clean, I'm telling you, it's everything).

I'd thought Polly herself had done the cover illustration, based partially on her illustrations for Francis Ford Coppola's Zoetrope: All-Story magazine. I mean, the illustration in my avatar was done by PJ Harvey. Is it not the same bird as featured on the album cover?

yeah, I thought it was Polly's work too but appears not

It is Polly's work, she said in a recent interview that Michelle incorporated her drawings into the design. So I'm guessing the birds was PJ and the font was Michelle's.

I just saw this book cover which looks so similar, I wonder if that was an influence somehow? its from 2006

Interesting... It's obviously the same bird, but it might have been "sampled" by Michelle to create the album cover...

HD versions of the videos are now up on her channel.

I wonder when it will be released the rest of the videos by Seamus Murphy...anyone knows? :-)

By the way,The Glorious Land video it's fantastic!!!!Love all the landascapes :-)
