EUREKA!

They hid it well. I have to turn on quick reply for each forum, as well as reset the whole board. Whew! :geeker:

re: "You're divine: Rid Of Me" viewtopic.php?f=2&t=790 can't vote in the poll either

The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.

Using Hermes Green so it's probably specific to this (I'm guessing because other features have issues as well)

Not a big deal, just posting because H&HW asked so very politely to do so
how will you ever walk again...

If you haven't noticed, there has been a lot of new members lately, which is great! :)

Unfortunately, for some reason I can not explain, there has also been an uptick of suspicious applicants. Booo.

I've been checking each one, but one got through today. I just wanted you to know that it's not because I'm not paying attention, I just can't do a little, you know, "meet and greet" for each new member. So if spammers get in, PM me, email me, but ignore THEM.

Thank you.

what I have noticed is a general slow time for save answers, or change window
it might be related to what you say above...

that's the message
General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

Too many connections [1040]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

Thanks, it could indeed be related, I'm not sure what I can do about it, other than maybe making the whole site private. Every time an artist puts a new album out, spammers jump all over it, trying to gather some of the attention a new artist's work gets. We'll just try to weather it out.

There has been a huge increase in the number of spam bots at The Garden recently. We had been getting very few since we moved here, but suddenly we started getting a couple of dozen every day. I've had to change sign up procedures, please be patient if you're new, your first posts will have to be approved before they appear and you get full, registered user, permissions. I'm keeping a closer eye on things too, if you notice anything unusual, don't hesitate to let me know.

Thanks! from everyone on The Garden team. :)

It is possible the spamming will decrease after the new album dust settles. If we notice that we may reduce the number of posts requiring approval.

We are sorry for the pain in the butt but I believe this is the best solution indeed. I'd like to thank Hell above for coming up with the idea, and assure you the team will be doing its very best to approve posts as quickly as possible. It's just the first 3 posts, and you'll be a full gardener in no time. ;)

First, sorry if this was confusing, but I merged your post here.

There have been some changes made to the board, but they shouldn't have affected you. If you're still having problems, send me a PM and I'll see what I can do.

I've noticed a couple of different duplicate posts today, and for the last couple of days, the board has been a bit slow - at times for me. Anybody else having issues?

Very slow for me since 20th of feb. Were afraid I'd picked up something with all these concert clips circling - but maybe it's just this release-hi-tide?!
