I just asked my tattoo artist friend for a quote regarding a new tattoo. :green:

I really shouldn't though, as I'm still actively looking for a new job and having to hide them is a pain in the ass. But damn it the craving is too insane.

It's finally ~cold out here in SoCal. Thing is, I'd forgotten how cold my apartment gets cuz of the crappy/lack of weatherstripping! lol.

if there's a want for something new, you might find me at the start, or where it ends for you.

Do you at least get overtime pay for working such hours?

I'm so very, extremely bored at work right now. There's like nothing to do and I'm tired of hitting refresh on my favorite blogs every 2 minutes. They should just give us this entire week off. I could be in bed sleeping.

I feel like Thanksgiving completely sneaked up on me this year. Looks like my night will be filled with glazing pecans and lots of baking.

It's amazing how a job can suck all your life out of you.

No, it's a video shoot so it's scheduled to go til 3am. pshhhhhh

And it seems like some people really enjoy having jobs where they do nothing; that's only fun to an extent, I think :/ that's when you're stuck standing in a store for 4 hours staring at your feet or refreshing blogs :(

I had a job where I'd go through days of doing nothing, and now I have one where I have way too much to do. I'd have to say the former is so much better, provided you have access to the internet. It's a great opportunity to learn about something you're interested at.

^I miss having a job that keeps me busy. Hell, I miss having a job that challenges me.

I used to work for a company that payed me just to sit on my ass 90% of the time (it was that slow) and they had no internet access. Well, only the ~boss did. :eyeroll: Thank god for books. I would have gone insane otherwise.

I've finished all my deadlines and it's barely 9am. Long day is long.

I completely understand this. I spent five years at a job took up all my time and left me stressed and miserable. I stayed with it because I thought I had to and the pay was good. Once I started having panic attacks in the office I decided it was time to leave. Best decision I have made in a long time. Can't believe it took me so long to make it!

I saw a child's size toy autoharp while Christmas shopping the other day. If only my nieces and nephews had any shred of interest in instruments and not Barbie and Hot Wheels!

I'm more than 3 hours into 2012 and somehow it doesn't feel very different (compared to last year) - but I may suppose that the new year will grow on me. anyway it feels fine so far.

Happy 2012 to all of you!
