Re: Questions for Polly
There are not many situations meeting Polly and talking to her that I wouldn't consider to be intrusive. Just imagine your are a famous person and frequently foreign people want to ask you something, want an autograph, take a picture with you etc. Knowing myself I would be very often very "unpleased" with that.
On the other hand she like any other artist is depended on their fans.
Nevertheless here are my question:
How do you write your songs? (meaning the whole process of song writing)
I admire her for the ability to write songs that on the one hand are more or less simple, but on the other hand very sophisticated.
PS: Just kidding. My question would be: Would you marry me?

Yeah, well I'm not much for body hair myself, you have to admit though that she looked pretty great on the 4-track demos cover. And much of that was due to the fact that she had hairy pits. It wasn't just the novelty sunglasses or the wet bikini. The combination of the three worked well.Skladunk wrote:come on, as if Poll ever cared about what people thought of her looks?!Shadowboxer wrote:How in the world did you think armpit hair was a good look?![]()

Upon listening to "M-Bike", I wondered if PJ would now cringe at the lyrics, kind of like some of us would upon reading an old, let's say, diary entry from when we were teenagers or something similar.

I made myself the reflection that those were probably her weakest lyrics... Knowing her immense gift as a songwriter, I for one do cringe when listening to this songPitifuljoy wrote:Upon listening to "M-Bike", I wondered if PJ would now cringe at the lyrics, kind of like some of us would upon reading an old, let's say, diary entry from when we were teenagers or something similar.
