Haha, me too! Then when I got to the ticket booth, there was a line ...Everyone there was waiting in line to get tix to see "Tron" After about 20 minutes I was like, "UGH I'm going to miss the beginning!" I super walked in JUST as the movie had started.
I saw the online version last night. I had to. The soundtrack is pretty amazing as well. It definitely adds to the eeriness of the whole thing.

I HAVE to go this week. I may have to get used to going to movies alone, but I'm missing so much. Online would be ok, but a theater would be best.

Nice! I just went and saw it again today. And I may (almost 100% most likely) will watch it tonight. And I agree about the soundtrack! Clint Mansell is a fantastic composer! I read somewhere that there's a song (or part of one? idk) where he just played Swan Lake backwards. The music to Swan Lake is already kinda eerie so I imagine it backwards would be more eerie o_o I need to get the soundtrack! I serious am blown away by Natalie and Mila's performance. Like...shit....that was amazing acting going on there.

We just finished the 2nd series of Twin Peaks so it was finally time to watch the prequel movie to the series 'Fire Walk With Me'.
David Lynch is a very strange person! Was really let down by the second half of season 2 and the movie jut added imagery to the info you learn in the series so a bit of a waste of 2 hours

Going to the movies alone can be quite nice as well. I've started going alone (especially because I couldn't get anyone to see Black Swan with me lol)
Somewhere - Uh. ok. I'd give it a 2.5 out of 5. Left me feeling kinda "meh." The movie is very one note and doesn't really go anywhere...I don't know. Meh. lol.
Temple Grandin - Claire Danes does an amazing job. Enjoyed it immensely.

this movie has one of best definitions for catharsis in cinema lately to me. the final act made me breathless, stunning, such a beautiful work this movie. i loved it. i always was "Ok" with natalie portman's performances but this work made me respect her, she's really great.

Conviction - It was like watching a lifetime movie that never ended. I had to fast forward it to the end because the movie had already ended but it kept on prolonging for mushy, feel goodness and at that point, I had had enough!
The Fighter - Good performances all around, but nothing to brag about IMO
True Grit - Couldn't help but think of Wednesday Addams whenever the little girl came on screen, but overall a pretty good movie. Jeff Bridges continues to amaze.

Little Fockers Not as funny as Meet the Fockers, I'd wait until it's available to rent instead of going to the cinema.
Gulliver's Travels Funny, everything you'd expect from Jack Black in a family movie. With all the comedians i expected it to be side splitting but it wasn't that funny though.

Fish Out Of Water
If only every conservative christian right wing moron was forced to see it. And ugh, I hated having to hear Fred Phelps throughout. But excellent documentary all around.

Kings Speech - Oscar winning performance by Colin Firth.
Whether you approve of royalty or not, this is a touching tale about the relationship between two men from different worlds.
And I always like a true story ;-)

Why are people so weirded out by going to the movies (or concerts) alone? I've done that so much I'm weirded out by not going alone. No one needs people bugging in your ears when you're trying to concentrate on what's being presented.

Just habit. I haven't made it yet, there's always so much to do.
