take it easy, only 10 1/2 weeks to go!

with only 3 weeks to go now, I'm feeling a sort of feverish sensation as I anticipate the last third of February. (I cannot find an emoticon adequate enough to describe this.)

It's been so long since I've posted on the Garden Forum.

So, keeping the last tour in mind, are we thinking she'll tour more of the west coast later? Or add more dates?

There's still a chance she'll come to Portland, OR?

If she does, it had better not fall on the night of an exam/show I'm booked in/other thing I'm obligated to do.

The only think I have to go on is what she has done in the past. The Coachella gig prevents her from doing other shows in S. California, so she would come back after the exclusivity agreement expires. There's some wishful thinking here of course, I don't have any inside information. But...

☛ EXCEPT, for the White Chalk tour. She passed central Cali altogether that time. So nothing is certain.

So they work for everyone?!? :)

I was looking for a down arrow and didn't see anything on my keyboard. I have this character index/dictionary thing on my computer, "Character Viewer," and there were these hands. I don't want to show off but,

They're pretty small.

Can't really understand the reason why there are dates all over Europe except Italy. We need her! :tear:

well wickedtongue,
I think the difference between you and me at this moment is that you got tickets for both shows in Amsterdam (am I right?) while I have refrained from buying any, as I'm counting on other gigs in May (presumably in England) and in June (probably in Germany and some other continental countries) but nonetheless it makes me nervous (as no other gigs have been announced within that timeframe and I've seen both Amsterdam shows sell out before my eyes - but I made the decision to skip Amsterdam this time, simply because I was there twice last year and would prefer to spend my money wisely by going places where I haven't been lately). I don't care for the festivals either, too costly and too crowded as they are and lacking the intimate atmosphere of music venues like the Paradiso. but we don't know how long this touring period is going to be, perhaps there'll be more gigs coming up in autumn - yeah, what if Polly gives more gigs in September and all the way until November/December? (by the record of previous tours, this is far from unlikely - so the need for restraint in spending one's limited funds for the sake of later concert emergencies is rather obvious.)
still you're right, of course, about us in Europe being spoiled rotten with gigs.
if I was living in America I would be so nervous right now, with only one regular concert-hall gig announced and having to make a quick decision whether to go to San Francisco (because the show will sell out before any other gigs are announced) and without knowing what other gigs may be coming up... it's really the same predicament (which I've been facing in regard to Amsterdam) but even worse - much worse because of no previous gigs, like we're getting in Europe in February. ("enough for me", you say, may I assume that you're going to all eight of them, in February? our mutual friend Andy is doing so, he has told me, and Lisbon and Amsterdam as well - that's true devotion, I do declare.)
Yes i have both nights for Amsterdam in the pocket(maybe i have spares but don't know at the moment yet)It's always choices to make where to go but i can't wait for other cities to be announced i haven't been too.
But anyway i'm shure we both see enough gigs this tour!
Can't believe it's only a few weeks to go for Brussels!:-)
