I love it too!

Beautiful imagery in the video(of course, Polly's in it :) ), the coastal bits are Dorset e.g. West Bay, about a mile from Bridport

Really, really like this...the words, the images...

Gold Cap at 1:00 mark, if I'm not mistaken.
Wiggins is so superbly unassuming, he looks like he's about to say 'Pop the gold medal in the post, I'm nipping out for some biscuits'

I second that. As usual with PJ, live versions are a bit rawer than studio ones. I remember how disappointed I was, while listening to "When Under Ether", "The Mountain" and "The Devil" studio versions for the first time. But, now, even if I prefered them lives, I love the production of these songs (and the whole album). I think, it 'll be the same for "The Last Living Rose" and maybe "Let England Shake"... Anyway, I already adore that guitar at the end which really sounds like The Cure.

my first post here .... i have been watching and reading from afar for many years

The Last Living Rose, as well as Written on the Forehead, have both crept up on me - a odd suprise and need to critique when first listened too, only to find that the songs quickly have become indespensible. i now crave their sound. There is something going on with this new album, something unobvious, and something that is so far untangible. its ahead of me, and i trust that i will catch up to it. i like it

i was not a fan of A Woman a Man Walked by (for me it only had its moments) but i feel very very strongly about White Chalk (which to me is an album almost as important to me as Rid Of Me and Too Bring you my Love). This new sound really feels like a step forward and a new territory for Polly

anyone worked out the chords for Last Living Rose ? i am feeling the need to play it

after multiple listens i must say that i love it (and loved from the first hearing live) but the studio version could have been done better. saxophone doesn't suit this song in my opinion, i would love to hear the harp instead.
