I would have answered anyway. Just an excuse to 'talk' to you. Haha ;-)
Wiggins is so superbly unassuming, he looks like he's about to say 'Pop the gold medal in the post, I'm nipping out for some biscuits'

yes she did look good, though she looks better in person it was weird seeing Gordon Brown watching with Andrew Marr- at least he didn't try and claim to be a fan!

Interesting get up from Polly. Is she channeling her inner Gaga? :P

Interesting song too....yeah I'm on the fence with this song but that's not to say I don't look forward to what's to come with great anticipation.

Not as good as the Camp Bestival version. Thought her voice faltered a couple of times and she looked a bit gaunt. Not her best performance.

And very surreal sight of Gord watching her play, shouldn't think he even knows who she is.

Hello everyone, I'm from Argentina. I saw the interview but I didn´t understand what she said very well, someone can transcribe some of what she said.

Here's some quotes,

"I don't feel qualified to sing from a political standpoint because I feel like unless I knew every single aspect of what's going on I can't speak about it," she said, before adding: "I'm very interested in politics and follow it avidly, but I don't feel that it's my place as a songwriter to bring politics into my songs."

"The next body of work [‘Let England Shake’], it’s an example of the whole album, really, in that i was looking outwards a lot more. I think a lot of my work has often been about the interior, the emotional, what happens inside oneself. This time I’ve just been looking out, so it’s not only to do with taking a look at England, but taking a look at the world and what’s happening in the current day world affairs. But always trying to come from the human point of view because I don’t feel qualified to sing from a political standpoint"

I’ve written about half of my new record on one of these,” Harvey explained, referring to the autoharp. “I’ve got three autoharps and I’ve had them tuned in slightly different chords, uh, fixtures here, so that they’re slightly out of the normal line of what an autoharp would sound like. There’s a lot more minor keys, a lot of darker keys.”
