Romario, since I've had a day off anyway I converted that FLV file to FLAC for my personal music library, cut it into separate tracks, tagged properly, and made a lame cover. Would you mind if I shared it with others here?

It was a pure coincidence - PJ was a headliner of the festival, and they're usually scheduled to play at midnight, like Feist and Swans on the two other days, but since she was playing gigs at Edinburgh on the 7th and 8th, for purely practical reasons she needed to perform earlier (I guess so that they could transport the whole equipment and stuff to the airport?). At first I was a bit disappointed - I like it to be dark during a gig - but did indeed turn out lovely; it gave the concert a slightly cinematic feeling.

Now I think she just doesn't want to stay up too late ... : ) At Brixton the audience was told the concert would start at '8.30 sharp', which I assumed was a Harveyism because I couldn't imagine anyone else involved putting it like that. Of course we were off by about 15 minutes, but it was almost like saying 'I expect everyone to be home in bed at a reasonable time' !

Haha, maybe! That's just some second-hand info I got from an acquiantance working at the festival, but maybe he was just trying to hide the fact that Polly likes to call it a night early.
