By the way, does Polly ever mentioned how many tracks overall were recorded during the "Dry" sessions? I suspect that songs like "Rub 'Til It Bleeds", "Me-Jane", "Man-Size" and "Dry" might have been recorded at the time as well, but just didn't land to the record.

I've been reading a lot of her earlier interviews, and as I remember she never actually said anything specific about those songs.
I vaguely remember she said she considered the songs on Dry (the album) as a batch of tracks she wanted to put out first because they already felt too old compared to the newer material (the songs you mentioned, which where written circa 1991, with the only exception of "Dry" - 1990 I guess) and it felt right to record them for her first album, otherwise she would have never published them.
