I wish I could keep a record of my most-played songs like that. but alas, I've never been able to get the scrobbler on last.fm to register most of what I play.

what program do you use to play music? maybe you can get your statistics from it...?

I use Winamp, and I tried to get last.fm to register my backlog of songs played (did try several times) but most of the songs never registered; a problem having to do with them not being properly tagged, or something like that (and I would have had to pretty much browse through the lot in order to tag each song individually, a gruesomely long-winded process that would have taken way too much time).

but I sure wish there was some way to get my backlog registered, 'cause it would be fun to see the charts showing my playing habits in accumulated numbers.

Winamp hes some charts. in Media Library there is for example "Most Played" playlist.

a little offtop but there are some programs which can tag your songs in few minutes. did you try it? unfortunately i don't use any of them so i can't reccomend anything concrete. anyone?

when I click on "Most Played", a list of only eight songs appear (all from the same recording session) and these are songs that I last played as long ago as last year. nothing else appears. strange.

I listen to a discman and what I put on changes daily. I don't usually use the pc to listen to music.

Oh ok thanks! I have no music on my pc, it was only playing 30secs of each song then said the radio costs 3$ & everything else is free, so it's ok. Thanks for telling me anyways now I know better
