That's brilliant, BobSimms, thank you for sharing! I was hoping one of these readings/conversations would surface.

Polly will also appear at the Edinburgh International Book Festival (13-29 August), she will be interviewed by her mentor Don Paterson.

Fabulous readings and interview.
There is a bit around 31:00 that folks who don't have a deep interest in UK politics might not understand (it took me a while ...) where Max says that Polly's sketchbook is just full of tractors. The context is that there was a UK member of parliament accused of looking at porn on his phone during live parliamentary sessions. His excuse was that he had found it by mistake when looking for tractors ... twice. He resigned, eventually.

Yes, that was funny! Another hilarious bit is the "prayer" she recites at 55:10 to the "unshaven Father" whose "thy kingdom's done" and where she asks to be given up for adoption, ending with "shitface forever, amen", but I can't quite grasp the middle part. Could anybody transcribe it? Pretty please?

Spoiler! :
Drunk as a Lord's Prayer

Our Farter, who art unshaven
Arseholed be thy Name
Thy Kingdom's done
The wool is spun
In Darzet as 'tis in Devon
Legless today and still in bed
All abrim with hooch sandwiches
As e's a pisshead that tilties against us
And give me please up for adoption
As yer liver is sclerevil
For vile is yer Mingdom
Yer glower and yer fury
Shit-faced forever
Amen
