Well... Anyone else experience a "white out" today? I couldn't log in, each time I tried, I got a blank white page, and I tried on two different computers. Same network though. If this happened to anyone else it would help if you told me so I can maybe figure out what happened. Probably not, but maybe. Thanks!

I was already logged in, but about 9 hours ago when I tried to get into specific topics' pages, they wouldn't open (blank white page). Now everything seems fine.

Sorry for the short absence, somebody at the host changed security so that no one could get in, not even me! As always, if you have any problems post them here. There may be other changes in the future, but I'll give you advance notice.

Actually, this would be a great opportunity for me to upgrade to forum software, since traffic must be at a record low ATM. If all goes well, it won't take long. If there's a problem...

No problems so far, but this is more extensive than I had anticipated. I'll be working on it more today.

The first step to upgrading was to put everyone on this style, the default. That's when things went dark, no pages would load. I fixed it, but I still haven't upgraded. I'll try again later, this was just the first step. :rolleyes:

Yes, but now I remember why we liked the other style better. Avatars on the right is just wrong!

So, there we are, everything is back to the way it was. Until the host upgrades php, I can't upgrade the forum software at all.

The only downside, and I'm sorry, but to do an upgrade I had to change everyone's style to prosilver. You can change back to subsilver2 in your settings.

^ Yes, sorry I didn't get to it before. I could just delete index.html but the address may be stuck in people's browser memory for a while so they'll get a "file not found" message. I uploaded a redirect, which is clumsy but it will do.

The host offerred to transfer the site to an updated server, I've been inquiring about costs. If the site does migrate, it will be down for a couple of days while it propagates and I'll let you know.

Hi,
I can't login on the web forum with my real account, it says that it is not the good IDs, but I'm sure that they are.

when I try to login:
- it don't work
- it says that I exceeded the maximum, but I do it only one time (allcookies and history where deleted before opening the web-site)
- it ask to answer to a CAPTCHA, but there is no CAPTCHA below

I asked by e-mail and on the facebook page, but no answer.

How can I reactivate my real account "GoFo"?
