Josh Klinghoffer, recently let go by the RHCP because guitarist John Frusciante is rejoining the band. did the Marc Maron podcast this week.

Also a very brief mention about the Firebird guitar he said he fell in love with when being introduced to it on the Uh Huh Her tour. About 5 minutes from the end.

I recall during that time Eric Drew Feldman's band kNIFE & fORK was opening for her on the tour and their web site featured a "tour journal" forum for the band members to record their thoughts. The kNIFE & fORK drummer wrote some interesting anecdotes of scenes on tour with Polly and Josh. Within a few days of that posting the forum was taken offline leaving only the web site (which disappeared in 2007 after it was hacked). This is what it looked like:

Interesting, thanks. Never knew about the tour journal back then and only barely a remembrance of the possibility of there being something more between them.
