I've seen many a conflicting tab for this song. Until recently I used a version that was F and G as the chords for the verse and chorus, but I've found one that says F and G# (Which to me sounds better), and there is also one that says F# and A. I was wondering which you would think sound correct the thw way that Polly plays it based on your experiences playing the song.
Much appreciation in advance.

She uses a capo in the first fret, so it would be

E G (or F G# for that matter)

then the bridge (put money on...) goes something like A F# A F# A-B (or A# G A# G A# C)

You may want to check a live performance of this song during the White Chalk tour (I think she played it just once or twice during that era) where you can really appreciate it (though she doesn't use a capo this time)
