"Harvey is struggling with her vocals."

Spoiler! :
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I was kind of buying into this until this point.

The music is deliberately simple. The horns oompah and honk, and the songs strum and march around, while Harvey sings the bleakest lyrics of her career, or ever. She has said as much in interviews. This is an interesting read, and certainly from the viewpoint of songwriting in general.

But I don't think LES is songwriting "in general."

Thumbs down.

Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.
