I popped into my local record shop today and of course I checked the H's to see if there was any interesting PJ in stock. I came across a disc called Mayan Monstas which looks to be a bootleg from the TBYML time. The track listing on the back is all messed up with several songs incorrectly titled ("Don't Ever Leave Me","My Lord", "Don't Pour it on Me"). I've never been much of a bootleg collector but I also never really come across them. I didn't buy it but was curious to see if anyone here has heard it and if it is any good in quality. Thanks!

According to an old bootleg list I have -

"5/18/95 "Mayan Theatre, Los Angeles CA" 73 min. CD-R 1 B+ digital audience"

If you check the gigography, you find two shows at the Mayan club in 1995, on the 17th and 18th, I have the one from the 17th, it's called "Blue Girl." I've heard of Mayan Monsters, so its probably this recording, but with boots you can never be 100% sure...

ETA: I Googled it and found this: http://www.ioffer.com/i/pj-harvey-mayan ... m-78763731

Don't Pour It On Me? Is that Snake?

Blandford's bootlegography (page 190) says Mayan Monsters is the same audio as Blue Girl (May 17, 1995).

Thanks for the info. If it is still there next time I go in, I may need to take it home out of curiosity!
