This is only from Pinterest, so I find it hard to believe it hasn't appeared here, but I don't remember seeing it. All the other postings seem to lead to one original, but I wonder where Mr Bowman (https://www.pinterest.co.uk/hallybowman/pj-harvey/) got it from.

I'm pretty sure it's taken from Sue Webster's Instagram. I think it was in 2015, Polly came to drop a CD-R with The Hope Six Demolition Project, or at least with the results of the Recording in Progress sessions (not sure if it was a finished album). My memory might be faulty, though.

It did stretch my credulity to think it hadn't popped up before.

That's so beautiful, thank you for posting it. I love seeing that fantastic jacket in such detail. I can feel the cloth ...

Thank you again! It's one of my favourite bits of Polly's gear. I thought Todd Lyn might have knocked it up for her, but if it's by Ann Demeulemeester *and* was tailored to fit her unusual build (which is how it looks) it must be worth quite a bit. No wonder she still wears it.

It looks very much like Ann Demeulemeester's work to me. She does seem very careful with her clothes and accessories, I like that. She's had that feathered jacket she sometimes wore on stage this tour since 2010 I think, and I loved how suddenly those glasses from the cover of 4-track demos popped up on an Instagram picture this year. To me it shows how meticulous she is, not just in her work. And yes, it is quite relieving to see that she doesn't get lost in the extravagance and waste that is often associated with rich folks like her.
