Thanks! I haven't had much time to work on this lately although I do intend to. The Quick Reference page is #2 on the list I'm afraid. |

RE 1998 Shepherds Bush Empire, bootlegs are notoriously unreliable, although Newrose is an exception. There's a Youtube listing as the 14th (based on the gigography?) but I found this, which is pretty definitive: Spoiler! :

^ Yup, it's shown as 1998-12-13 in torrent files I downloaded (from dime) in August of 2007. |

Post subject: | Re: Gigography |
Regarding 1998-12-07, I have a dime torrent from 2009 which indicates the setlist shown is actually much larger. setlist.fm agrees with the gigography and shows the smaller setlist. I've pasted the info file from the torrent "1998-12-07 Muziekcentrum Vrendenburg - Ultrecht, Holland" below: PJ Harvey Muziekcentrum Vredenburg Utrecht, Holland 7 December 1998 Lineage FM radio > unknown > CDR x 2 > EAC > wav >Nero > flac From two separate Dutch radio broadcasts This show is made up from two separate Dutch radio broadcasts of excerpts from the same concert. One circulates with the correct date, and the other circulates as Leidsekade 6 February 1999, a date she didn't actually play. The two discs share one track, "The Wind", which sounds exactly the same, and the size of the crowd indicates a large audience, ie one that was there for a full concert, not just a gig of 5-7 songs. The first broadcast ("1998-12-07") has these tracks: - Intro - A perfect Day Elise - The Wind - Hook - Meet ze Monsta - My beautiful Leah - Outro The second ("1999-02-06") has: - Taut - Electric Light - The Wind - Missed - Highway 61 revisited - Snake - The Sky lit up These are all standard concert tracks for that period, with corresponding running orders. If she had performed a one-off show, it is more likely that she would have had a different set list. The sound quality is excellent, with the second broadcast particularly good. A shame the whole concert hasn't surfaced yet... DJ comments have been edited out, volume levels aligned, and segues edited for smooth transitions. Total time 40:51 1. Taut (3:22) * 2. Electric Light (4:40) * 3. A perfect Day Elise (3:33) 4. The Wind (5:48) * 5. Hook (4:33) 6. Meet ze Monsta (4:00) 7. My beautiful Leah (3:15) 8. Missed (4:35) * 9. Highway 61 revisited (2:55) * 10. Snake (1:45) * 11. The Sky lit up (2:22) Likely entire pre-broadcast set list: 1. Catherine 2. Rope Bridge Crossing 3. Civil War Correspondent 4. Taut 5. Joy 6. Electric Light 7. A Perfect Day Elise 8. The Wind 9. Hook 10. Meet Ze Monsta 11. My Beautiful Leah 12. City Of No Sun 13. Angelene 14. Missed 15. Highway 61 Revisited 16. Snake 17. ENCORE: Is This Desire? 18. Heela 19. The Sky Lit Up 20. To Bring You My Love or No Girl so sweet |

^ I'll have to think about that. I don't see how to be certain any setlist is accurate for that show. The gigography AND the Gigography Quick Reference have been brought up to date! Hurry, it won't be current for long... |

Hell and High Water wrote: The gigography AND the Gigography Quick Reference have been brought up to date! <...> Don't mean to be a pain in the arse, but an eyewitness of "Forecastle" set said on the Facebook that they played "Shame" (there's a picture, and it was a couple of days before the first video of it showed up on YouTube from New York gig). "It was about the 5th song or so." - so, I guess it was the 4th song, between "The Community of Hope" and "Let England Shake". And they definitely played "The Devil", but I don't know if it was before or after "Dear Darkness". Also, Quick Reference page shows Pitchfork Festival show as a "Poetry reading". And my setlist for "OFF Festival" is correct (I listened to a live radio broadcast): Spoiler! :

And it's probably worth mentioning about Baptist Church choir participation in the last two US shows. |

All right then. The Forecastle setlist confuses me, I'll get back to it again. I'm hoping that setlist.fm is updated or some other info pops up. Thank you for your help! |
