Following her sold-out UK and European headline tour last year, PJ Harvey will perform alongside her bandmates John Parish, Jean-Marc Butty, Giovanni Ferrario, and James Johnston. To develop the live show, Harvey worked with theatre director Ian Rickson, set designer Rae Smith, lighting designers Paule Constable and Louisa Smurthwaite, and fashion designer Todd Lynn.

Looks like the band will be the same for the North American tour as for last year's tour.

[Polly hardly ever changes band members much these days. She always has John Parish, Jean-Marc Butty, James Johnston and Giovanni Ferrario playing behind her. Polly does not hire any other bass players or other guitar players backing her up since 2004.

Well, that’s not exactly true, is it? I think Giovanni Ferrario only played in her and John’s band for the A Woman a Man dates. And she had plenty of people she’d never toured with before on the Hope Six run (Kenrick Rowe, James Johnston, Terry Edwards, Alessandro Stefana, Enrico Gabrielli, Alain Johannes).
