Can we list them please?

(Hope not to be spamming here)

Since I'm experiencing her live for the first time and I know she plays almost the whole H6DP on this current tour, I want to know what are the chances for me to listen some good ol' PJ oldies

I know she plays TBYML everytime

Dry
-

Rid of Me
Highway 61 Revisited (encore)
50ft Queenie (tour staple, played at every show)

To Bring You My Love
To Bring You My Love (tour staple, played at every show)
Working for the Man (encore but hasn't been played since last autumn)
Down by the Water (tour staple, played at every show)

Is This Desire?
A Perfect Day Elise (encore, but hasn't been played since last summer)
The River (encore)
Is This Desire? (encore)

Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea
-

Uh Huh Her
-

White Chalk
The Devil (since last autumn tour staple)
When Under Ether (alternating with To Talk to You mid-set)
To Talk to You (alternating with When Under Ether mid-set)

Let England Shake
Let England Shake (tour staple, played at every show)
The Last Living Rose (encore)
The Glorious Land (tour staple, played at every show)
The Words That Maketh Murder (tour staple, played at every show)
Written on the Forehead (alternating with Medicinals mid-set, sometimes encore)

The Hope Six Demolition Project
Basically the whole album, but she doesn't always play Near the Memorials to Vietnam and Lincoln (if she does, it's for the encore), The Orange Monkey (skipped on some of the shows, probably due to John Parish's absence), and Medicinals (alternating with Written on the Forehead mid-set, sometimes encore).

Non-album material
Guilty (encore)

*

So a 'standard' setlist is:

01 Chain of Keys
02 The Ministry of Defence
03 The Community of Hope
04 The Orange Monkey
05 A Line in the Sand
06 Let England Shake
07 The Words That Maketh Murder
08 The Glorious Land
09 Medicinals OR Written on the Forehead
10 When Under Ether OR To Talk to You
11 Dollar, Dollar
12 The Devil
13 The Wheel
14 The Ministry of Social Affairs
15 50ft Queenie
16 Down by the Water
17 To Bring You My Love
18 River Anacostia

...and then two songs for the encore. For instance at the show I attended we got Highway 61 Revisited and Is This Desire?

I'm seeing her again in August. I wonder if the band will rehearse additional songs for the rest of the tour, like they did last autumn.

Thank you so much! That was an extremely detailed and complete fulfillment to my request

A good friend of mine is coming with me to the Mexico show, she's not that much into PJ though she likes her very much, but her favorite song from her is "A Perfect Day Elise". I really hope she plays it there (though I'm keeping my expectations low). She also loves TBYML too, but of course, who wouldn't love that one <3

By the way, why is John Parish absent? I love him! DHALP is one of my favorite albums ever!

You're welcome, no problem at all!

In general he is a part of the current 9-piece touring band, but last month he had to go back to the UK earlier, and was absent during the last few US shows (hence the absence of The Orange Monkey in the setlist, and some few other changes, like Alain Johannes playing guitar on To Bring You My Love, for example). I suppose he'll be back on the road with Polly for the rest of the shows.

They are not playing any stuff from their collaborative albums, though.

That's sad too.

Thank you for the answer!

Thank you TheNightingale!

That was an excellent post detailing what songs she's been playing.

I guess we can add now new songs to the list:

Uh Huh Her
Shame

White Chalk
Dear Darkness
White Chalk

Let England Shake
All and Everyone
In the Dark Places

They were all played in the main set at the 4 summer shows she's done so far, replacing The Orange Monkey, A Line in the Sand, Written on the Forhead/Medicinals, When Under Ether/To Talk to You, and Dollar Dollar.

Are you sure they played "All and Everyone" at Pitchfork Festival and Forecastle Festival? Don't know why, but I'm afraid they only played it as "exclusive treat"
for these two shows with a choir.

You're right, "All and Everyone" and "White Chalk" were not played at Pitchfork and Forecastle.

But these two were festival shows, so the setlists had to be a bit shortened - I think she only had 1 hour at Pitchfork, for instance. I'm sure they're not exclusive to the NY & DC shows - they probably wouldn't bother arranging and rehearsing them for just two gigs - and they will show up at future concerts. Perhaps she's going to perform them only at full-length shows, opting for a shorter and rockier setlist at festivals.

All 5 of these new ones are among my absolute favorites EVER, so I was very very very very happy in Vienna, VA @ Wolf Trap!
