^ They've got a ways to go before they'll beat the previous record of 143 performances (by my count of the gigography) during 2000-2001.
This lengthy amount of touring is surprising given her comments in the past about not liking touring. I suspect to make the finances work out for the number of players, sound technicians etc. she had to compromise. Unlike in the past, it appears she's been able to completely stay out of the promotional aspects of touring (eg. radio station performances and interviews etc). Maybe this was also part of the compromise. The ONLY promo work she has done for the current tour appears to be the BBC1 Andrew Marr performance/interview on 2016-05-22.

"The response before and after the extrinses - "Near the Memorials to Vietnam and Lincoln" is a new highlight - suggests that PJ leaves the audience hungry for more. Do we dare hope for a less conceptual approach next time?"
