Hello,

I am new to the Garden (although I have been a guest for some time) and would like to send a huge and ever-lasting thank you to Romario 11 and all the Gardeners who alerted me to Polly and Seamus' gig at the Melbourne Writer's Festival in September. If it were not for you, I would not have known (I don't live in Melbourne). And it's because of you that I was able to attend, and have a fantastic night.

ABC's arts program The Mix has an interview with Seamus Murphy here: http://iview.abc.net.au/programs/mix/NU1602H035S00 or here http://iview.abc.net.au/programs/mix/NU ... 00#playing.

The interview kicks in at 7:17 or thereabouts and contains snippets from the poetry reading and subsequent discussion with George Gittoes.

Please note that the program will not be available after this week.

Enjoy!

Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me - apparently, my system is too old.

Maybe somebody could write down Polly's words (if she says something during those conversation bits)?

I managed to get the whole episode (in 360p, so the quality's not great). There's not a lot of Polly, but the interview with Seamus is worth seeing. I'll upload it tomorrow (it's bed time in Australia now. Sorry!)

Not sure if I should post this here or in the Amusement Park forum, but here it is. Sorry, it's the whole show. Seamus starts at approx 7:20.

Indeed, thank you, a really good piece. I keep wanting to call him Seamus Heaney, I must stop that.
