So, is this white wall a video-projection now, or what? How did it rose up? I'm confused.

Huh...I thought it was a 3 dimensional thing also. It must be a very clever 2D pattern on a stage backdrop that they raise up.

^ It's 3D, if you notice their shadows patterns, you will see they bend with the "squares" or are double projected at the same time in two different squares, like the drum's plate. Around 0:55 / 1:00 you can see also the shadow of his head double projected.

My guess is that this is some sort of soft and light material, maybe some kind of foam? Probably it "folds" like an accordion judging by the patterns, would explain how they transport it everywhere at ease. Still puzzles me tough, quite ingenious.

At the end of "River Anacostia" video from Paris, this white wall is starting to "folding" back in.

I was also puzzled by the shadows, but I don't understand how they work as much as you do. Maybe they could create this effect with just the lighting?

I write in french sorry :
C est un décor amovible qui a été hissé en fond de scène au début du concert.
Ce n est donc pas une projection vidéo

C is a removable decor that was raised at the bottom of scene at the beginning of the concert.
It is therefore not a video projection
