Hi Pollyphoniac,

Thank for the information.

I too had trouble getting a decent ticket for Tori at the RAH from ticketmaster this time around. Ended up with a ticket in the circle.

I had not realised that there had been a pre-sale on 02 and Livenation before the general on-sale date - I obviously was not paying enough attention to Tori's site at the time.

Fingers crossed for some good tickets for Polly.

those pre-sales (especially the O2 one) annoyed me enormously. (why on earth should O2 customers get special privileges in buying tickets for concerts? why is such a thing allowed? a violation of equal opportunity principles.)

but on the general on-sale date there was a special fan-club allotment: by accessing the ticketmaster through the link on Tori's website (www.toriamos.com) one got special access to some of the best seats. this wasn't discovered until after a while (not by me but somebody else). at that time I had given up on RAH and was trying to get a good ticket offer for the show in Manchester. the selection mechanism kept offering me seats way back (like 20th row), then (upon being informed about it) as I took the other route (through the link on www.toriamos.com) I suddenly was offered a seat in 3rd row.

this fan-club allotment wasn't announced in advance, so it appears that nobody knew about it until the general ticket sale was already under way.

Yeah, O2 presales really annoty more. As you can guess I am not an 02 Customer.

I have found on occassions that using the Ticketmaster 'best seat available' function does not seem to actually give you the best seat!

I too only saw the link from the Tori website once it was too late. Still I am pleased to be going to see her again.

the Ticketmaster (not only in the UK but in the US as well) appears to offer tickets not according to the "best available" principle but rather in a seemingly haphazard fashion (or if there's any discernible pattern to it, it would seem as if they were trying to flog some tickets in far-from-stage rows before beginning to offer tickets for the front rows). but surely this must be considered a fraudulent practice. there ought to be a way to take legal action against them, to force them into changing their ways.

A friend who was at the Scandinavian shows rated Stockholm 6.5 & 7.5 and Oslo 3 & 9. He's been to plenty of PJ gigs, said tonight was one of the great ones, very long set.

Here are the setlists:

Oh my god! what a setlist. Polly really did mean it when she said they'll incorporate new songs into the setlist, I guess this was a rehearsal for the RAH shows. Nina in Ecstasy, The Desperate Kingdom, White Chalk! I wish I was there.

Yah he gets a lot of that.

Guess I shouldn't tell you he'll be heading to Australia in January, your hate would then be elevated to repulsion.

she played White Chalk, oh my... this makes me shiver with anticipation.

but 26 songs in one set, isn't that some kind of record (for Polly)?
(do I remember correctly when thinking that she actually played 26 songs only once before?)
