PJ news is slow these days. Here's a trivial pursuit for us. Someone posted a couple of interesting things tagged with PJ Harvey on flickr today:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/design8r/s ... 944136942/

namely, a setlist of unknown date:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/design8r/4161169881/

and a ticket to 2004-06-23:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/design8r/4161062575/

Assuming the setlist is from 2004-06-23, everything except the encore matches the setlist shown in the gigography for 2004-06-23:
http://www.baymoon.com/~thegarden/2003-2005.html

I wonder which encore is correct, the one shown in the gigography or the one shown in this setlist? If we had the complete gig in audio, that would answer the question. Does someone have this gig? I don't. I have the much more common gig seven days later on 2004-06-30 in which Maryanne Faithfull came out and encored with PJ. I believe the gig exists since I see it in canescent's list (audio, A-, minidisc audience).

I'm sure you've searched through the gigography. I did a search of the complete list for "city of no sun / victory" and there were no matches. So if that set list is real, it's an unusual choice of songs.

I have mp3s from a bootleg of the Zenith show, it doesn't match the photo.

23rd June 2004 - The Zenith – Paris
“Who The Fuck” Bootleg

The Life & Death Of Mr Badmouth
Good Fortune
The Letter

Cat On The Wall

Who the Fuck?
You Come Through
The Darker Days Of Me & Him
A Perfect Day Elise
Down By The Water
My Beautiful Leah
Uh Huh Her
Meet Ze Monsta
Dress

Taut
Big Exit

Victory

Okay, thanks. It appears the gigography is correct then.

It's probably not unusual that they changed the encore from the printed list when they felt like it (but she sure didn't do anything like that this last tour  )

Hm, any chance you could up that?

Sure, you know I've been dying to update the gmail accounts! These are 192 kbits/sec files, and some are over 10MB, I can't remember if that's a problem with gmail or not. I should check.

Here's a couple of pics to hold you over.

It'd be WAY faster to just zip them up and upload the one large file to mediafire.

I haven't uploaded mp3s to the gmail account in ages..

Yes, it would. The Gardenfiles have fallen into disuse.

Actually, you don't even have to zip the files before sending to Mediafire, you can just upload them as all at once, create a new folder for the show, and then share the folder.

I hadn't looked at the Gardenfiles in a while, attachment size limit is now 25MB, and they've added skins!

Of course it's faster to download just one file too. Check the Amusement Park.

And if anyone has a lossless version of this show and can share it, it would be appreciated! :)

I could have sworn that I had this show in audio already, but upon checking the content of my hard-drives I found myself to have been sorely mistaken. now I'm so keen on getting this recording that words would not suffice to describe my eager feeling.

wait a minute, I was doubly mistaken here. upon thinking twice I suddenly remembered that I got this audio recording from M&MM (which is why it was lodging still in a separate directory with all those files I received on a disc from Mexico).

furthermore there's a file that says: "Torrent downloaded from Demonoid.com"

could that be so? in which case, is it still available there?

I just checked and found www.demonoid.com to be down, whether the site is permanently damaged I don't know.

These are mp3s and I also have a file saying it's from Demonoid. So are your files mp3s also?
