My Italian really isn't up to either, but they might be of use to someone. The search on Abebooks also produced a collection of essays about Domesday Book which made me boggle a bit until I realised the author of one of the essays is Sally P.J. Harvey. I really want to know what Polly thinks about the significance of Domesday Book now.

This is just out: Mad Dogs and Englishness: Popular Music and English Identities, eds. L Brooks, M Donnelly & R Mills.

Most of the essay about PJH, although not all of it, can be read on the GoogleBooks preview.

At nearly £100 I'm not offering to buy it. I may see whether I can persuade the library to ...
