I'm making a essay about PJ Harvey and then i found this interview which i think it's important but english is not my mother tongue.

so the interview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GyInQwNfIsA
from 2:40 - 3:24
all i could get is this :

so what do they think of your music you play?
they have ??? a video tape of us performing and read them
the title of album and i think he just said
i been using my voice as percussion instrument which
i have and so he is just really trying to stop me
from using like a drum, stop me using like a voice
???? singing from here and singing here

what did they mean when they say percussion instrument about?

well sorta of beating to death
and sorta of the way i ??? every note and been shoulting out and putting
a percussive ??? every single word i sing just so they get across the bass
and drums and ??????

If you guys could help me transcribe this part it would really help me cause I don't understand much of english
and maybe there are some words i can't catch

As essay I need to put the correct pronunciation and this goes to my chapter about pj harvey and her relationship to her voice and guitar.

This is my attempt, not 100% sure and the italic parts are the ones I found most troubling. Hope it helps

so what do they think of the music you play?
Well they... he had a video tape of us performing and I gave him a tape of the album and I think, well, he just said I've been using my voice like a percussion instrument - which I have - and so he is just really trying to stop me from using it like a drum, and stop me using like a voice... and go back, don't wanna sing from here but sing here.

what do they mean when they say percussion instrument? About...
Well sorta of beating it to death, I think. And s... the way I'd start sing every note - I've been shouting out and putting in a percussive edge on every single word I sing just so they get across the bass and drums. So it's like really trying to re-learn everything...
