Amnesiac, could you grab "A Dog Called Money" from this site - http://www.melon.com/album/detail.htm?albumId=10057060? Sample there has a much better quality.

Sorry I can't pay with a korean site. Japanese site is ok.

I don't understand: I thought you somehow "fished out" full tracks from mediaplayer, but now you say "pay" - so, you bought these m4a files? If so, question for everyone - can't you hear how low the quality is? It deforms the sound, actual bitrate must be around 96 kbps or below. You might say there's something wrong with my ears, but can't you spot the difference between crystal clear 192 kbps mp3 which has been posted first, and this latter upscale m4a?

I guess I heard that m4a is a format for iPhones or something, but I'm "old school", and I think that if it's bad at both computer headphones and speakers - when it's just a bad quality in general.

For the first link of "I'll be waiting" I "fished out" from mediaplayer. I didn't pay for that.

I tried with the number 1332146001 to have the first track but it didn't work
the m4a files are from http://music.oricon.co.jp I paid with a sort of Paypal website but they aren't available anymore ???
You're right the files aren't lossless but I can't do more. I was disappointed when I listened the first time.

New 7" costs $25, and proceeds are going to charity.

This record has really grown on me. I didn't really care for it at first. I kept comparing it to LES and it didn't feel as strong. But I've really come to appreciate it over the last year and the album has really opened up for me. The only two songs I still find questionable are Memorials and Medicinals, but the b-side more than make up for them. Also this live show is just fantastic and I hope she releases a DVD or Bluray. The live arrangements are superb and that band is just solid. Watching her perform Dollar, Dollar made me love the song a lot more.

So it's going to happen after all? Cool! Thanks for this tidbit.

Love the choice of the title, too.

Can somebody please provide a link for a good, buff article in which the whole H6DP is explained as well as (maybe) the story of every song? (it is for a friend who wants to get involved in the whole concept)

Well, PJ hasn't given any interviews for this album, so we don't know 'stories behind the songs'.

IIRC there was a big feature in Uncut that interviewed Parish, Flood and Murphy about the making of the album, so that's the closest thing you can get. But there are still no quotes from Polly, she's kept silent about this one.

Whew, that is a tall order. Polly's never really been one to tell the meaning behind songs for the most part, wanting an article in which she explains the whole album and every song is asking a lot. It will probably never happen.
