This info is new to me, thanks.

I should have re-listened to Hope Six on the anniversary, but was a bit diverted, so only did so this week. It surprises me that all the issues I had with it seem to have faded very substantially. Even the most awkward sentiments and slightly gauche moments just don't appear very important now, and everything flows much more smoothly than I thought a year (or not quite a year) ago. I suppose it must be partly familiarity and partly understanding so much more of the background and context. I wonder whether anyone else has had anything like the same experience?

I still like both live renditions of "The Orange Monkey" (3-piece band and the current one) better than the studio version - that's about it in terms of "my problems with the album". )))

I tried few times and only managed to hear a very low bitrate sample (quality so bad that it deforms the sound) - maybe anyone else heard a normal quality version and could snag it? [I think the last year's 1 minute sample of "The Wheel" was from the same site, and quality was good.]

^ Great, jealous! I hope that the songs appearing on the sites posted by Kuk91 mean there's a digital release coming soon. I can't wait to hear some more Hope 6 material. Does the vinyl come with a lyric sheet?

Me too. I wish I had a way to rip them from my vinyl. It doesn't come with lyrics. It's just the cover and back cover posted, and a white gatefold with the record in it.

The Mnet links are still playing a snippet for me? In case someone hasn't heard the full songs yet, I recorded them with my phone.
Sorry for the shitty quality: I'll Be Waiting - A Dog Called Money

We all appreciate your effort very much, Shadowboxer, but I'd rather wait for quality, sorry.

Thanks for that, it was a nice teaser and it definitely piqued my interest. Looking forward to the official release.

Song is done beautifully, but it's very-very simple (might even say "demo-ish") - I expected a lot more of backing vocals. It's evidentually about blood feud and a circle of violence - I understand its refrain as "by the time my dearest resurrected, their murderers should be dead and their graves shall be abandoned". And when the chorus is done for the 2nd time, it's almost like a horror movie - because those killers would most likely have the families too, who would want their dearest to resurrect, but the lyrical hero of the song would still be waiting for them (probably, to kill them again). :geek:

P.S.: Kinda surprised they've chosen "I'll Be Waiting" as a studio number over, say, "Where is Our City?", which could have been very powerful IMO.
