Here's the programme:

It starts at 02:16 -ish. If anyone could grab it I'd be most grateful. It's hauntingly beautifully.

She never ceases to amaze! She sounds incredible and It's a wonderful cover. It's really wonderful(as much as I like all her voices) to hear her sing in her lower register again.

Flood stated that her new stuff, "will be amazing" (2:22:10 start). Has he ever spoken that positively about her previous material, or, is he typically this encouraging about artists he produces? Also gets me wondering about what other public comments, if any, he's made with respect to White Chalk, TBYML, ITD? either before completion, during recording or upon release?

OMG, this new track is just mesmerizingly good! I've even lost count of how many times I've listened to it in a course of a last few days. It's like "White Chalk" meets "Is This Desire?" IN A CHURCH. ))) The way they recorded her vocals is astonishing!! It's like they cloned her and made a choir. ))) When I listen to it on my speakers (and that's always a LOOP-listen, too) I close my eyes and it really feels like both Polly and "her clone" are singing live right in front of me, and that's spectacular! I think the only other songs that give me such a strong feel of her live presence before me are "Passionless, Pointless" and "There Will Never Be A Better Time".

The more clones Polly have (like in "A Place Called Home" video) - the better this world becomes. )))

Then I first read of this new cover on some musical news cite my first instinct was to play original, which I already liked just fine, but after I heard Polly's re-work of it, I just simply forgot about the sole existence of original version (and that's the case with every cover she ever did, for me of course). It's AMAZING!

You can grab it here:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/8f6ki ... ed0001.wav

It's on YT also:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykwxyVYKTBM

I like it a lot. It's very White Chalk-ish.

Here's the full lyrics:

Take a little walk to the edge of town
Go across the tracks where the viaduct looms
Like a bird of doom as it shifts and cracks
Where secrets lie in the border fires, in the humming wires
Hey man, you know you're never coming back
Past the square, past the bridge, past the mills, past the stacks
On a gathering storm, comes a tall handsome man
In a dusty black coat with a red right hand

He'll wrap you in his arms
Tell you that you've been a good boy
He'll rekindle all the dreams it took you a lifetime to destroy
He'll reach deep into the hole heal your shrinking soul
Hey buddy, you know you're never ever coming back
He's a god, he's a man, he's a ghost, he's a guru
They're whispering his name through this disappearing land
But hidden in his coat is a red right hand

You don't own no money? He'll get you some
You don't have no car? He'll get you one
You don't have no self-respect
You feel like an insect
Well don't you worry buddy 'cause here he comes
Through the ghettos and the barrio and the bowery and the slum
A shadow is cast wherever he stands
Stacks of green paper in his red right hand

You'll see him in your nightmares
You'll see him in your dreams
He'll appear out of nowhere but he ain't what he seems
You'll see him in your head, on a TV screen
And hey buddy, I'm warning you to turn it off
He's a ghost, he's a god, he's a man, he's a guru
You're one microscopic cog in his catastrophic plan
Designed and directed by his red right hand

DrDark, wow, where did you get a WAV file? It sounds more clear, and there's no fade at the end: seems like someone made an abrupt sample for what's coming later - my hopes to hear the full version are even higher now. Maybe after episode 3 airs.
